Summary/ Objectives
Provider of medical imaging repair and maintenance seeks an experienced Service Engineer to maintain, and repair -MUST HAVE THIS SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE!!!
Thrives to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance with equipment and maintain a high quality of customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities
- Field Service Engineer 3 is needed to perform the following duties:
· Install and set up new MRI and CT equipment at healthcare facilities, ensuring it meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
· Perform routine maintenance, calibrations, and inspections to ensure the equipment operates efficiently and accurately.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues with MRI and CT machines, using advanced diagnostic tools and software
· Repair and replace faulty components or parts within MRI and CT systems, which may involve disassembling and reassembling the machines.
· Perform system upgrades and updates to improve equipment performance or ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Conduct quality control tests and ensure that MRI and CT systems produce high-quality images with minimal artifacts.
· Maintain records of equipment performance and maintenance history, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
· Installing, evaluating, and verifying repaired parts.Preparing test documents that meet ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 11 (electronic document and signature) requirements which contains the list of tests performed to verify the functioning of the part and the final test result.
· Maintaining and operating all CT, MRI, and PET CT equipment in the lab and warehouse which are used for testing and verifying repaired parts and make sure all of them are performing under OEM specifications and ACR requirement.
· Designing necessary parts and fixtures required for the part repair using CAD software such as Solidworks, 3D printing and Manufacturing the designed parts.
· Designing Various monitoring devices for the system by writing code on Python implementing on Arduino by using different kinds of sensors such as temperature sensor, pressure sensor, hall effect sensor, IR sensor and several other sensors as needed.
Supervisory Responsibility
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this role
Work Environment
This job operates in the field where the individual will be going to several different sites to and will be around a variety of medical imaging equipment.
Work Schedule
Primarily Monday thru Friday normal business hours occasional evening and weekends.
Physical Demands
The physical requirements that are essential to perform this job are to talk and to hear. It will also be required by the employee to frequently stand; walk, lift up to 75 Lbs., to use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Travel
This position requires frequent and regular travel as needed to service the technical needs of customers. The individual in this position must be willing to travel and drive distances to get to a variety of sites within a 4 hour radius. Some travel and assignments will require flying and overnight stays.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree is required in Biomedical Engineering or Computer Science or Communication Engineering & Information Systems
