Insurance Defense Attorney - Jacksonville, FL
A well-established Florida litigation firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its Jacksonville office. The practice focuses on defending a broad range of personal injury claims, including premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, negligent security, wrongful death, and general liability matters.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $120,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing
- 3+ years of experience in personal injury defense litigation
- Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Experience handling depositions, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently with minimal supervision
- Trial experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in personal injury and general liability matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Develop litigation strategies and provide risk assessments to clients and insurers
- Prepare for and attend mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Maintain communication with clients, adjusters, and internal team members
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-stakes matters as needed
