Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machines and related equipment. This role ensures optimal machine performance, minimizes downtime, and supports production efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
Pay and Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm - Monday through Friday
$35-40/hr - based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues on CNC machinery.
- Inspect and replace worn or damaged components such as bearings, belts, spindles, and ball screws.
- Work with PLCs, servo drives, and VFDs to resolve control and automation problems.
- Calibrate and align machine components to maintain precision and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and update service records in the CMMS system.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
- Hands-on experience maintaining CNC machines (Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Mori Seiki, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PLCs, CNC controls, and basic programming adjustments.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pompano Beach, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
