As a Winding Apprentice, you will learn the skills necessary to rewind and repair electric motors under the guidance of experienced technicians. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and learning a skilled trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in disassembling electric motors and documenting findings
• Learn to strip, clean, and prepare motor components for rewinding
• Help wind coils and install them into stators
• Operate shop tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in electrical systems
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
