Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide comprehensive support for students across grades K-12 in a dynamic educational setting located in Lake Placid, FL. This full-time contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, running from July 30, 2025, through May 27, 2026. Candidates can expect to work 37.5 to 40 hours per week across 2 to 3 different school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the academic setting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with district and state requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and provide expertise during multidisciplinary planning sessions.
- Support Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates as necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
- CCC-SLP credential required.
- Experience working with children in K-12 educational environments preferred.
- Ability to travel and provide services at multiple school sites.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork and student-centered care.
