A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-12 school setting in Fort Myers, FL. This contract position spans the full academic year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across K-12 grades
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Implement evidence-based therapy sessions and track student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
  • Provide guidance and resources to classroom staff to promote effective communication strategies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings, preferably K-12
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment tools and therapy techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage caseloads independently and utilize technology for reporting and scheduling
  • Commitment to professional growth and adherence to ethical standards
