Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role includes maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, fitness centers, and pools, as well as performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. Compensation:

$18.50 - $19 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring efficient resolution.
• Maintain mechanical areas and tools in a clean and orderly condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry.
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections.

Qualifications:

• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook).
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.
