Job Title: Traffic Signal Technician
Location: Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Hernando Counties, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Signal Technician to support traffic signal operations across multiple Florida counties. This role involves the installation, programming, integration, and maintenance of traffic signal systems and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain traffic signal components including:

- Detection Systems
- Traffic Signals
- Edge-Computing Technology
- Emergency Vehicle Preemption & Transit Signal Priority
- Adaptive Traffic Signal Control
- Communications Networks
- Transportation Safety Solutions
- Cabinets and UPS Devices
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of traffic signal controllers and cabinets
- Diagnose and repair wiring issues, including underground conduit and loop detectors
- Test, splice, and replace conductors as needed
- Ensure compliance with county-specific hardware and installation specifications
Requirements:
- IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level II Certification (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL A preferred; company-sponsored CDL available)
- Willingness to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions
- Availability for paid on-call assignments
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
