The Electrical Tech Support Engineer will provide in-house and on-site customer service, training, and support on all medical, hospital and surgical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities include supporting Customers and Dealer Network by way of providing training, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Specifically:
- Support Dealer Network and Customers by helping them to diagnose problems and offer options for resolution.
- Communicate and coordinate repair activities/training with Suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain accurate service records/transactions of work performed.
- Represent the company in a service role and take responsibility for customer satisfaction. Increase customers’ loyalty by professionally communicating with them.
- Respond to customers’ requests promptly and provide solutions within the entitled response time.
- Support the Sales Team with Product Training.
- Assist Sales Team with service and training of equipment to Customers and Dealer Network in-house or at customer sites.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Biomedical Engineering.
- At least two years’ experience as a service/support person resolving issues.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting/repair skills for medical equipment.
- Strong customer services skills including strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
- Self-motivated. Must have ability to work independently.
- Willing to travel overseas.
- Bilingual English/Spanish (Mandatory).
- Must reside in South Florida. Not applicable to international candidates.
