CAD Engineer
This position will be responsible for designing customized production units via utilizing engineering methodology. Regular tasks will include: creating 3D CAD models in Autodesk Inventor and utilizing that model to create cut or bending programs for our various machines. Many jobs will include creating customized units based on proven design and then presenting that design to the customer via a 2D CAD drawing. Other tasks include regular maintenance and checking of the current manufacturing process. As well as, when a problem is found, this position is responsible for assigning duties to correct the error.
Pay Rate: $20/Hr. + DOE
Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Location: Fort Myers
CAD Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer product components
- Optimize manufacturing methods
- Prepares communications and conducts meetings
- Assist senior staff with workload
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
CAD Engineer Job Qualifications:
- AutoCAD or inventor experience with metal fabrication experience
- Experience with production using sheet materials (metal and/or plastic)
- CAM experience
- English speaking is a must for this position.
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to stay organized
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Solid mathematical skills
- Very detailed oriented
- Knowledge of necessary regulations
- Great time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Bachelors in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
