Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across various educational levels, from Pre-K through high school. This role provides a chance to work within a dynamic school environment in Wesley Chapel, FL, delivering critical speech and language services to diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student improvement, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive student support strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with early childhood through high school-aged students.
- Familiarity with speech and language development milestones and challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
