Staff Attorney – Family Law Unit About Us

We are a mission-driven non-profit law firm dedicated to advancing justice for low-income residents of Collier County. With over 30 dedicated team members, we provide free legal services across a wide range of civil issues that impact our clients' health, safety, and self-sufficiency.

Every year, we help thousands of people find their voice, assert their rights, and build more secure lives. Through a combination of direct legal assistance, education, and impact litigation, we challenge the systems and barriers that affect underserved communities.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family law matters in judicial and administrative forums
  • Conduct client interviews, legal research, drafting, negotiation, and litigation
  • Prepare and deliver community education and training sessions
  • Participate in outreach efforts and bar/community initiatives
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including attorneys, support staff, and volunteers

What We’re Looking For

  • Member of the Florida Bar (in good standing)
  • Strong commitment to serving survivors of domestic violence and marginalized populations
  • Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Multilingual skills are a plus
  • 1–3 years of legal practice preferred (not required)
