Staff Attorney – Family Law Unit About Us

About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Staff Attorney to join our Family Law Unit, which primarily serves survivors of domestic violence and individuals navigating complex family law matters.
Our attorneys provide compassionate, client-centered representation in cases such as:
- Injunctions for Protection (restraining orders)
- Dissolution of Marriage (divorce)
- Paternity and custody orders
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law matters in judicial and administrative forums
- Conduct client interviews, legal research, drafting, negotiation, and litigation
- Prepare and deliver community education and training sessions
- Participate in outreach efforts and bar/community initiatives
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including attorneys, support staff, and volunteers
What We’re Looking For
- Member of the Florida Bar (in good standing)
- Strong commitment to serving survivors of domestic violence and marginalized populations
- Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- 1–3 years of legal practice preferred (not required)
