We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Preconstruction Manager to lead and manage the preconstruction process for commercial, industrial, and healthcare construction projects. This position requires a deep understanding of construction methods, market pricing, and early-stage project planning. The Preconstruction Manager will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, estimators, and project teams to develop accurate budgets, timelines, and strategic plans prior to construction.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead preconstruction efforts from initial client contact through contract execution.

Collaborate with business development and operations teams to develop pursuit strategies and project win themes.

Review conceptual plans and specifications to develop accurate and detailed cost estimates and schedules.

Manage design development coordination with architects and engineers to align scope, budget, and schedule goals.

Conduct value engineering and constructability reviews to optimize design and cost.

Lead subcontractor solicitation and bid process; evaluate and compare proposals.

Prepare and present project budgets, cost models, and feasibility studies.

Support procurement strategy, early trade partner involvement, and pre-buyout processes.

Assist in writing proposals, scope narratives, and project schedules.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and trade partners.

Stay current on industry trends, pricing, construction techniques, and building codes.
