Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a specialized cardiac care environment as a Cath Lab Technologist in Hollywood, FL, supporting critical cardiac and neurovascular procedures in a fast-paced, patient-centered unit. This opportunity is on a contract basis and involves working with state-of-the-art GE Innova imaging equipment in a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac catheterizations, cerebellar angiograms, stent placements, balloon angioplasty, and assist in ENT lab procedures.
- Maintain proficiency with Special Procedures and equipment operation, including Meditech and MacLab EMR systems.
- Collaborate closely with a team of RNs and technicians focused on delivering 1:1 patient care.
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment with frequent on-call duties and ability to respond flexibly to unit needs.
- Uphold the units professional dress code, wearing designated red and gray scrubs while maintaining a clean and organized lab environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required; ARRT certification mandatory.
- Proven competence in Special Procedures and familiarity with all GE imaging rooms.
- Preferred credentials include RCIS certification.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player, think critically, and maintain a patient care focus in a busy setting.
