Location: Hudson, FL 34667
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent (Contingent)
Schedule: Night Shift | Rotating Weekends

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $33–$46/hour (based on years of experience)

  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ICU RN will leverage strong clinical judgment, evidence-based practices, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (Florida license required within 60 days of hire)

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience (MICU, SICU, or CSU experience considered)

  • Prior acute care hospital experience strongly required

  • Excellent critical-thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills

Required Certifications

  • AHA BLS – Required

  • AHA ACLS – Required within 6 months of hire/transfer

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required within 6 months of hire/transfer

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill ICU patients

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

  • Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, including test results and clinical assessments

  • Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and individualized care plans

  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements
