Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19–$21/hour

Position Overview:

A Sarasota-based healthcare manufacturer is seeking a skilled Casting Technician to produce high-quality silicone and polyurethane components. This role involves preparing molds, casting materials, and applying silicone painting techniques. Precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of casting processes are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret production instructions and technical drawings

• Prepare molds and mix silicone/polyurethane materials per specifications

• Cast components with precision and monitor curing processes

• Trim, clean, and finish parts to meet quality standards

• Perform quality inspections throughout the production process

• Apply silicone painting techniques using tools such as airbrushes and brushes

• Maintain accurate production and quality records

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures

• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and improve processes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in casting or painting is a plus

• Experience with silicone and polyurethane casting

• Proficient in silicone painting and finishing techniques

• Strong understanding of material properties and curing processes

• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
