We are currently partnering with a well-established steel company that is looking to hire a Beveling Machine Operator in the Lakeland, FL area. In this role, you will assist with setting up and operating various machines, handling parts, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the team’s success in meeting production goals.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Clean metal surfaces using wire brushes and scrapers to remove contaminants such as rust, oil, and debris
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine required bevel specifications
- Measure materials and verify proper angles with accuracy
- Operate a track torch to perform beveling on steel materials ranging from 3/8" to 1" in thickness
- Inspect finished products using calipers and bevel gauges to ensure specifications and quality standards are met
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Utilizes a TEKLA software
- Perform weekly, monthly and annual routine maintenance on machinery
- Achieves weekly goals for production
- Reports daily to Machine Lead for consumables and tools needed
Who We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience operating beveling machine
- Willingness to learn and become proficient in operating a variety of machines
- Proficient in Apple IOS and Android OS platforms
- Proficient in TEKLA EPM GO, preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs
- Positive attitude and energetic
What You Can Expect
- $18.00 - $20.00/hr
- Regular schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:55am – 4:30pm
- Occasional Saturdays
