Remote- South Florida
COMPANY DESCRIPTION The Bosch Group is a professional consultancy with over 25 years’ experience and expertise in providing detailed construction cost estimates, from early conceptual stages of design, through detailed construction documents. We provide our clients with expert, data-driven advice on their construction projects. Henceforth, our approach is built upon the rigorous guidelines set forth by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) to create objective, reliable, and defensible assessments of probable construction costs.
JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a Cost Estimator to join our team. The estimator will be analyzing construction plans at different phases of design and preparing take-offs throughout all CSI divisions using Bluebeam Software. Populate takeoffs into excel with template provided. Use data base for pricing line items. Attend and participate in meetings with internal team, design teams, and/or clients as needed. Assist in obtaining quotes from vendors to verify current local costs and trends. Since the position is remote, Microsoft teams and cell phones will be main points of communication throughout the workday 9am-5pm. This role has a possibility of growth into a leadership role.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
Cost Estimating Certification(s) are a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience a plus.
Leadership experience a plus
Experience and understanding in reading construction plans and specifications.
Ability to handle multiple assignments at once and work in a team environment
Detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams is required
Experience with Bluebeam and RS Means a plus
