Commercial Roofing Sales & Estimating Manager

Location: Davie, FL

A growing commercial roofing and waterproofing contractor in Davie, FL is seeking an experienced Estimating / Pre-construction Manager to lead bid efforts for re-roof and new construction projects across South Florida. This role is ideal for someone who can own the full bid pipeline, support estimating operations, and help drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage all incoming bid invitations
• Make strategic bid/no-bid decisions
• Oversee estimating activities including takeoffs, scopes, and proposal preparation
• Track bids, opportunities, and pipeline activity with accurate logs
• Lead proposal development for commercial re-roof and new construction projects
• Ensure scopes align with drawings, specifications, RFIs, and manufacturer requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, consultants, and property managers
• Coordinate smooth project handoff to project management after award
• Identify high-value roofing and waterproofing opportunities
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing and/or waterproofing experience (roofing preferred)
• Strong estimating or pre-construction background
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Highly organized with strong decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
