Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and graders to perform construction tasks.

• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.

• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or needed repairs.

• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and job sites.

• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to complete tasks according to project timelines.

• Follow verbal and written instructions from project managers or supervisors.

• Assist with other labor-related tasks as needed when equipment is not in use.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.

• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.

• Heavy Equipment Operator Certification or equivalent training preferred.

• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT safety regulations.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrain.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
