Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and graders to perform construction tasks.

Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.

Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment.

Identify and report equipment malfunctions or needed repairs.

Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and job sites.

Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to complete tasks according to project timelines.

Follow verbal and written instructions from project managers or supervisors.

Assist with other labor-related tasks as needed when equipment is not in use.
Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.

Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.

Heavy Equipment Operator Certification or equivalent training preferred.

Knowledge of OSHA and DOT safety regulations.

Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrain.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
