Now Hiring: Kitchen & Bath Estimator (NOT a Designer!)
Are you a master of the tape measure and a wizard with a spreadsheet? Do you get a thrill from dissecting architectural plans and turning them into perfect cabinet and countertop quotes? If so, we need you!
We are looking for a Kitchen & Bath Estimator who is passionate about the numbers side of the business. While our team appreciates good design, this role is laser-focused on accurate and efficient estimating, not creating mood boards. Your primary goal will be to generate 2-3 detailed and precise proposals per week, helping us keep up with our growing demand.
What You'll Be Doing
- Estimating & Take-Offs: Your main responsibility will be to review architectural plans and create highly accurate cabinet and countertop take-offs. This is the core of the job, and your speed and precision here are what will make you successful.
- Proposal Creation: You'll use your take-offs to develop and submit detailed, well-organized project proposals that win us new business.
- Production Drawings: Once a project is awarded, you'll prepare the final, precise cabinet and countertop layout drawings for our production team.
- Internal Communication: You will be the point person for our sales team and project managers, ensuring everything stays on track and communicating any changes clearly. We use Procore and Supply Pro to keep projects moving smoothly.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Experience is Key: You must have proven, hands-on experience in a kitchen and bath estimating role.
- Software Savvy: Proficiency in Pro Kitchen or 20/20 is required for creating your designs and layouts. Experience with On Center for estimating is a huge plus.
- A "Numbers First" Mindset: While you understand design concepts, your true passion is for the estimating side of the business. You can generate a high volume of accurate proposals without getting bogged down in the creative details.
- Organizational Prowess: You'll be managing multiple projects at once, so strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential.
