Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our dietary supplement production lines. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated equipment for gummies, liquid bottles, powders, and capsules. We are looking for a candidate with at least 2–3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience who can independently diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. You will collaborate with our production team to minimize downtime, execute preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure strict compliance with GMP standards. This is a vital position for a self-starter ready to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced, growing company.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the setup and changeover of automated packaging and manufacturing equipment (filling machines, labelers, cappers, and gummy depositors).
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures independently to minimize production interruptions.
3. Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing machinery, including PLC systems, robotics, and conveyor lines.
4. Customize equipment settings to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
5. Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment issues, minimizing disruptions to daily operations.
6. Learn and apply safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment in a regulated manufacturing setting.
7. Support inventory management for spare parts and tools related to automated systems.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, such as process optimizations and equipment upgrades.

Requirements

1. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical manufacturing.
2. Strong mechanical aptitude (bearings, belts, chains, pneumatics) and electrical proficiency (using multimeters, reading schematics, troubleshooting 24V control circuits and up to 480V power).
3. High school diploma required; technical certification, trade school degree, or Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics is highly preferred.
4. Familiarity with FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a strong plus.
5. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
6. Excellent critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical team members.
7. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with nutraceutical packaging lines (powder filling, liquid filling, labeling, etc)
2. Basic welding or fabrication skills.
