An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This part-time position focuses on fostering communication skills for children from kindergarten through eighth grade, ensuring that each student receives the guidance they need to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Current Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) status
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-8 students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Location:

  • Fort Pierce, FL

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement IEPs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address diverse communication needs
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
