An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This part-time position focuses on fostering communication skills for children from kindergarten through eighth grade, ensuring that each student receives the guidance they need to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) status
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-8 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Location:
- Fort Pierce, FL
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address diverse communication needs
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
