We are seeking a detail-orientedContract Licensing Specialist to support our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) facility licensing efforts. This is a remote, contract-based role ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible work environment and is experienced in navigating healthcare licensing processes.

This position will be activated on an as-needed basis, typically involving 68 application submissions per year. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of licensing applications, renewals, and related documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit licensing applications for new and existing SUD facilities (approximately 68 per year).
  • Ensure all documentation complies with state and federal regulations.
  • Track application deadlines and maintain organized records of submissions and approvals.
  • Communicate with regulatory agencies as needed to resolve issues or clarify requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for applications.
  • Stay current on licensing requirements and updates relevant to SUD facilities.



Qualifications

  • Proven experience with healthcare facility licensing, preferably in behavioral health or SUD settings.
  • Strong understanding of state-specific licensing regulations and processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely and setting your own schedule




Compensation & Contract Terms

  • Compensation: Competitive flat rate per completed application, based on experience and scope. Rates will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Contract Type: Independent contractor (1099).
  • Engagement: Project-based, with work initiated approximately 68 times per year depending on licensing needs.
