Medical Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and skilled in both clinical and administrative support. This role is essential to delivering high-quality care and ensuring smooth daily operations within the practice.
Responsibilities

Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures

Update and maintain accurate medical histories and patient records

Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments

Call in medications and coordinate diagnostic testing
-
Manage scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed
-
Provide patient education and support regarding treatment plans
-
Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
-
Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms and equipment
-
Uphold safety protocols, infection control standards, and confidentiality
-
Support the healthcare team with additional tasks to ensure efficient clinic operations
Schedule
-
Monday–Thursday:
-
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on non-late nights
-
8:00 AM until close (typically 6:00 pm–7:00 PM) on assigned late nights

Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)

Current certification/registration (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent preferred)

CPR certification (required, or obtained within 60 days of hire)

Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting (preferred)

Strong organizational, multitasking, and teamwork skills

Basic X-ray license (a plus)

Bilingual skills (a plus)
