Job Description

The HVAC Maintenance and Filter Technician must have (2-4) years actual and practical working experience in commercial HVAC; including but not limited to, chillers, cooling towers, split systems, RTU’s, VAV’s, as well as some controls. Will manage Service Maintenance Agreement clients.

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. 40 hour week. Minimal OT and ON Call rotation based on experience and dependability.

Rate: $20.00 and up/hr. based on experience

Essential Skills:

Knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, split systems, heating & roof top exhaust systems required

Fundamental knowledge of basic refrigeration systems, ability to read gauges and meters to identify simple problems and the ability to perform general maintenance as required.

Ability to identify worn components including contactors, belts, pulleys, sheaves and bearings is a must.

Preferred experience with ductwork.

*Sheet metal duct work experience is a plus

Technician must have their own hand tools. Some tools will be provided by the company.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This will be used for service work orders and reports as needed

Minimum Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and 2-4 years work experience or training.

Valid driver’s license & clean driving record. Drug free company. Pass multiple background checks.

Must provide your hand tools
