Sales Representative – Luxury Furniture Store
Compensation: $17/hour base + 5% commission on all in-store sales + 10% commission on all in-home design/sales appointments
Schedule: Must be available Saturdays

Position Overview
We are seeking a polished, motivated Sales Representative to join our team. This role blends in-store retail sales with in-home design consultations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building, interior styling, and guiding clients toward premium furniture solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist customers on the showroom floor, creating a welcoming and luxurious shopping experience
- Drive sales through expert product knowledge, aesthetic recommendations, and upselling premium options
- Conduct in-home sales visits, including:

- Recommending furniture pieces and design arrangements
- Presenting curated selections that fit the client’s style and lifestyle
- Closing high-value, personalized sales
- Maintain a clean, visually appealing showroom and help refresh displays
- Process transactions accurately and manage follow-up communication with clients
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals through consistent performance
- Work every Saturday as part of the required weekly schedule
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales, luxury goods, high-end furniture, or home décor (preferred)
- Strong sense of aesthetics and basic understanding of interior design principles
- Comfortable conducting in-home sales appointments and interacting with clients in their personal space
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to close sales confidently
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a luxury retail environment
- Ability to lift and move light furniture pieces as needed for showroom adjustments
- Reliable, punctual, and available Saturdays without exception
