Construction Litigation Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law and litigation, with a proven track record of successfully representing clients in complex construction-related disputes. This role involves advising clients on legal issues related to construction projects, managing litigation cases, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in construction-related litigation cases in state and federal courts.
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
- Advise clients on compliance with construction laws and regulations.
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions for construction disputes.
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and other stakeholders to develop case strategies.
- Stay updated on changes in construction law and litigation practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in FL, court admission preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction law and litigation.
- Strong knowledge of construction law, construction defects, and commercial litigation.
- Experience representing clients in federal court is preferred.
