Position Overview
As a Painter with Voda North Tampa, youll be responsible for surface prep, painting, and finishing work across a variety of restoration projects. You must be comfortable working independently and delivering clean, professional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Prep surfaces (cleaning, sanding, patching, priming) for interior and exterior painting
- Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Ensure clean lines, uniform coverage, and a high-quality finish
- Maintain a neat job site and follow safety standards
- Work efficiently to meet project timelines
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience
- Must provide own tools (brushes, rollers, drop cloths, sprayers, etc.)
- Solid understanding of painting techniques and surface prep
- Detail-oriented with strong work ethic and time management
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Physically able to lift 40+ lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with drywall patching, light carpentry, or texture matching
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
