This full-time, contract opportunity is designed for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-5 school setting in Apopka, FL. The role involves working onsite to support the communication and language development of students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students within the K-5 range.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student evaluations and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student learning and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required.
  • Proven experience working with children in a school-based setting, preferably K-5.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and common communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and work collaboratively within a school environment.
