Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) is needed to provide specialized support for students from PreK through 2nd grade at a K-12 school in Clermont, FL. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood communication development within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state educational and health regulations
- Provide direct one-on-one and group therapy sessions to young learners
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Speech Language Pathologist license
- Florida Department of Health licensure is required and must be current with documentation available
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Experience working with early childhood populations, preferably within a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage young students and collaborate effectively with educational teams
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Clermont, FL
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration through the current school year, ending May 29, 2026
- On-site presence required
