Major Responsibilities: Support for clinical programs and administrative functions in a wide variety of areas. Follow all FNU Policies, Procedures, Rules and Regulation and the FNU Code of Ethics. As well as, Title IX, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, as amended from time to time (“FERPA”), Florida Information Protection Act of 2014, as amended from time to time (“FIPA”), the EU General Data Protection Regulation as amended from time to time (GDPR) and all other applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read, understand and comply with the University’s mission, the catalog, the University’s policies and procedures, the Staff Handbook and Institutional Effectiveness process.
- Respond to communications (e-mail/voice mail) on a daily basis.
- Prepare the clinical schedule for the ADN Program, and post the clinical schedule on-line.
- Confirm student’s clinical documentation compliance as required by the clinical affiliation site.
- Coordinate clinical orientation with the Director of Education, faculty clinical evaluator, and nursing program director.
- Maintain the clinical affiliation agreement and the clinical matrix at the office.
- Organize and schedule basic seminars (CPR, OSHA, and HIV, Domestic Violence and or any other basic seminars required by the Department of Health) for all students in order to be prepared to start the clinical rotations at the hospital or clinical site.
- Coordinate with the Nursing Program Director related to specific rules, regulations, and tasks.
- Coordinate clinical site schedule changes with the Nursing Program Director’s approval, per request of the clinical affiliation site.
- Provide information to students related to drug test form.
- Support and participate in University Commencement Ceremonies.
- Participate in the self-studies and committees conducted by the University.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensure they are in compliance with Title IX of Education Amendments Act of 1972.
Requirements:
- Associate-level degree required. Bachelors preferred.
- Customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- English/Spanish required.
- High levels of attention to detail and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Ability to work with highly sensitive or confidential information.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Ability to respond quickly to business demands and react to changing circumstances
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and be self-driven.
