We are a well-established dental practice seeking an energetic, personable, and dedicated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a true team player with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will perform a full range of expanded clinical duties while providing outstanding customer service to our diverse patient base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all expanded functions clinical procedures (e.g., placements, restorations, sealants, coronal polishing, and other delegated duties as permitted by state regulations)
• Assist chairside during examinations and treatments
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Manage patient flow and support administrative tasks as needed

Schedule:

• Full-time is 28 to 32 hrs: Monday through Thursday
• 1–2 Fridays per month

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current X-Ray Certification
• Expanded Duties/Functions Certification (EFDA or equivalent)
• Fluent in English

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
