Paralegal - Personal Injury

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Personal Injury team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in the preparation and management of cases, ensuring that all legal documentation and procedures are meticulously handled. This role is vital in providing support throughout the litigation process and ensuring that our clients receive the best representation possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Manage case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up to date.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and facilitate case progress.
  • Assist in the intake process of new clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected.
  • Prepare trial exhibits and assist attorneys during trial preparation and discovery phases.
  • Utilize Litify and other case management software to track case progress and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal setting.
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in legal research and writing.
  • Proficiency with case management software, preferably Litify.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
