Vendor Relations Recruiter
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, qualifying and on-boarding vendors throughout the US based on trades and geographical needs of customers.
Directly Reports To: Senior Account Manager / Director of Operations
Responsibilities:
- Organizes and maintains all corresponding documents pertaining to each vendor
- Sources vendors based on utilization of several platforms including but not limited to, The Blue Book, Google, Service Channel, referrals and many other sources.
- Contact local distributors, supply houses, manufacturers to obtain list of local installers and or recommendations.
- Qualifies vendors to ensure they meet our standards and expectations of performance – Check reviews online as needed
- Sets up vendor profile within system and properly documents all on-boarding paperwork within the system
- Maintains vendor map throughout country
- Works with Senior Account Manager, Account Managers and to identify needs throughout the country.
- Provide a weekly updated spreadsheet of onboarding subs showing progress of documentation through completion.
- Assist Service leads as needed in sourcing local sub contractors for problematic tickets
Required Meetings:
- Monthly Sub Network Assessment Meeting
- New Opportunities / Initiatives Meeting – As needed
- Bi-annual State of the Company Meeting
Reporting Required:
- Maintaining Sub Contractor National Map
- Weekly Onboarding Progress Report
- New Initiatives / Opportunities Network Report – as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to build positive relationships with other employees and vendors, while maintaining high productivity expectations
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Strong understanding of basic computer skills (Microsoft suite, outlook, web browsers)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prefer experience with Service Channel or other 3rd party management software
- Strong personal management skills, dedication and organization required.
