Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Sanford, FL is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current CCC certification and School SLP credentials for a contract position covering the current school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, individual and group therapy sessions for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute data and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State licensure and School SLP certification as required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
