Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in healthcare projects to lead the electrical design and execution of complex hospital systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, project management experience, and a passion for improving healthcare environments through innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design for healthcare projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet client expectations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Conduct electrical system analysis and design using software tools such as Revit and BIM.
- Perform site visits and inspections to ensure quality control during construction phases.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports for electrical systems.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in healthcare electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on healthcare and hospital projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.
- Strong understanding of LEED principles and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
