Rebar - Iron Workers also known as Rod Busters - Currently hiring immediately
Position will consist of being able to secure steel bars, rods cables, install mesh using fastener and ability to possibly use rod bending machine, blowtorches, or hand tools. Cut rods to required lengths, using metal shears, hacksaws, bar cutters, or acetylene torches. Ability to set place blocks under rebar to hold the bars off the deck when reinforcing floors, prepping areas.
Must be able to secure rebar using hand tools, tie wire and related equipment. Assist in moving rebar cages, anchor bolt assemblies and other structural elements, follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE work in a team environment with foreman. laborers, and operators.
Must have a minimum of 2 plus years, jobs in the local area Reliable transportation a must
Hand Tools, belts, to preform job duties mandatory
