Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with active Florida licensure to support K-12 students across a large public school district in the Tampa, FL region is now available. This contract role runs from August 12, 2025, through May 23, 2026, with renewal potential for strong performers. Positions require onsite presence at one of various schools spanning from Oldsmar to Plant City and down to Ruskin, so candidates should consider their preferred commute and provide their zip code for placement matching.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing speech and language therapy services to caseloads averaging 55 students
  • Utilizing a dedicated or shared therapy room for individual and group sessions
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and completing district-required forms and prints
  • Collaborating with school staff and participating in a supportive district speech team environment

Preferred experience and qualifications:

  • Active Florida SLP license required before start date
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship status acceptable; CF candidates must arrange their own clinical supervision
  • Comfortable working onsite with flexible schedules from 1 to 5 days per week, standard day is 7.5 hours
  • Ability to navigate required district and AHCA paperwork, including credentials that may incur additional fees

Locations with available days per week include multiple elementary, middle, K-8, and high schools offering schedules ranging from 1 to 5 days weekly. A laptop is provided for documentation purposes.
