Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A well-established K-12 school in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join their team. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment working with a diverse range of students across grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade. Multiple openings are available, providing flexibility in scheduling with both full-time and part-time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy services to K-12 students.
- Manage and maintain K-12 caseloads, addressing a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Provide supervision and support for Clinical Fellows in their CFY year.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Monitor and document student progress effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working within a school setting serving K-12 caseloads.
- Ability to provide supervision for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Position Details:
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Contract duration: Full school year (NSY)
- Multiple openings available
- Full-time: 35 hours per week
- Part-time: 17 hours per week (option to stack two part-time roles to create a full-time schedule)
