Job DescriptionBankruptcy & Restructuring Paralegal – Creditors’ Rights
Location: Onsite in Downtown Tampa, FL
Compensation: $68,000–$85,000 DOE
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Creditors’ Rights Paralegal to support a fast-paced law firm. This full-time role is onsite and part of the Bankruptcy & Financial Services practice group, serving secured lenders, servicers, trade creditors, creditor committees, insurers, lessors, purchasers of distressed assets, and companies undergoing restructuring.
Responsibilities

Draft and manage legal documents (pleadings, briefs, subpoenas, etc.)

Support trial prep, mediation, arbitration, and deposition summaries

E-file in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts

Manage attorney calendars and deadlines

Conduct legal research (PACER, LexisNexis, Westlaw)

Serve as liaison for clients, experts, and legal teams
Qualifications
-
2+ years of recent and tenured experience in creditors’ rights bankruptcy at a US law firm

Strong e-filing experience across jurisdictions

Familiarity with Chapters 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, and out-of-court restructurings

Knowledge of loan modifications, lien disputes, foreclosures, and receiverships

Proficient in MS Office, Trial Director, and Relativity

Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative

Bachelor’s or paralegal certification preferred

Must work onsite 5 days/week with occasional overtime
Pay Details: $68,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
