Position Summary:
The role of Deployment Technician (DT) is an end-user facing position that requires strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills. The successful DT demonstrates a level of professionalism that communicates confidence, while treating all concerned with dignity and respect. There is significant local and regional travel associated with this position, so dependable transportation and the ability to quickly develop geographic knowledge of assigned areas is essential. This position requires a high degree of organizational skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail when following established standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and carry out deployment assignments from the Deployment Manager.
- Follow all Standard operating Procedures (SOPs) for onboarding of participants, equipment replacements, and offboarding of participants.
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the Talitrix devices and Applications to ensure they can effectively communicate applicable functions to participants.
- Using the Participant Onboarding Procedure Guide, educate participants on their responsibilities, functions of the Talitrix App, and importance of charging devices.
- Prepare and organize all deployment materials ahead of appointments.
- Travel to deployment sites (courts, jails, prisons, etc.) using a personal vehicle.
- Efficiently manage your schedule and travel routes to meet deployment timelines and reduce operational cost.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with local points of contact.
- Ensure scheduling commitments are achieved and make adjustments as operational conditions change.
- Submit expense report for mileage reimbursements on a weekly basis.
Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must pass background and motor vehicle checks, and reference verification.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and following SOPs.
- Ability to develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of our software applications (apps) and hardware.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Salesforce or similar CRM experience is a plus.
