Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental well-being
  • Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
  • Support medication management by reminding clients of medication schedules and assisting with proper administration when necessary
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping tasks aligned with care plans
  • Follow care protocols tailored to each client’s specific needs, including those with complex medical conditions like geriatrics or post-acute care requirements
  • Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care

Experience

  • Prior experience providing in-home or community-based caregiving services is highly valued
  • Experience working with clients who have diverse health conditions
  • Experience in specialized care settings, including hospice care, geriatrics, memory care, and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with memory care techniques to support cognitive health.
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting and assisting clients with mobility needs.
