Job Overview:
The Medical Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations of a healthcare facility, ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively and efficiently. This leadership position requires a blend of medical expertise, management skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare regulations. The Medical Director will work collaboratively with medical staff and the administrative team to enhance the quality of care while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
Duties:
- Establish and maintain a collaborative agreement with APRN at clinic.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and HIPAA standards.
- Monitor patient care quality metrics and implement strategies for improvement as needed.
- Provide guidance on medical management issues, including managed care initiatives.
- Stay current with advancements in medical practices and integrate relevant knowledge into organizational protocols.
- Oversee medical procedures as needed.
- Provide ongoing training and support to the team, ensuring they stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies.
- Offer guidance and assistance to the team regarding procedures as needed.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage staff and collaborate with other professionals.
- Ensure compliance with AHCA, Medicare, and other established regulations.
- Monitor patient care quality and outcomes, adjusting as necessary to improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified MD with a valid Florida medical license. Relevant specialty is helpful but not required. (All specificities are welcome to apply.).
- MUST be registered and active with Medicaid & Medicare services.
- Ability to come to the clinic 1 day per month for a chat review.
- BCBE Internal Medicine/Family Practice Physician.
Job Type: Contract:
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:
