Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support reverse osmosis membrane handling operations within a plant environment. This entry-level position involves uncrating, logging, cleaning, testing, and repacking membranes according to standardized procedures and safety protocols. The role operates under close supervision and offers a great opportunity for candidates looking to build experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle reverse osmosis membranes including uncrating, inventory logging, cleaning, testing, and repacking.
- Adhere to all workplace safety, quality policies, and operational procedures.
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality throughout the shift.
- Read and accurately follow documented work processes and instructions.
- Support both internal and external customer needs with timely and quality work.
- Contribute positively to overall team and plant performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Clear communication skills with team members.
- Basic math and computer proficiency.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Completion of site-specific safety and operational training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing or plant environments.
- Forklift certification or hands-on forklift operating experience.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking or data entry systems.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, see, and hear consistently throughout the shift.
- Frequent walking, writing, and typing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Capability to climb stairs and perform occasional bending, reaching, and pulling.
- Ability to work in temperature ranges from 0°ree;F to 120°ree;F.
- May be required to wear hearing protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to operate a computer and communicate effectively via phone and email.
- Potential exposure to dust, dirt, and concrete flooring.
