Job DescriptionThis is a medical assistant position in a private pediatric office, can be PT or FT, or PT leading to FT. Applicants should:
--have an upbeat personality
--communicate clearly to patients and staff
--be computer literate, able to scan documents into EHR
--be able to perform or capable of learning:
*taking vital signs on children
*O2 sat measurements
*obtaining height, weight and head measurements
*administering vaccines
*finger/heel pricks, throat/nose swabs and urine tests
We are looking for somebody with a warm and friendly personality, who finds joy in caring for kids but who can also handle themselves in a busy clinical environment. Pediatric experience in the past is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. The hours would be flexible, but within 8:30am to 12:30 and 1:30pm to 5:30 timeframe, occasional Sat morning hours.
$17-21/hour based on experience
20-38hrs/week
