Core Truck Solutions (CTS) is hiring a Field Technician to support our customers across the state of Florida. Specializing in Truck mounted cranes and equipment, performing repairs, inspections, both on chassis and Crane.
Travel to customer locations statewide to diagnose, repair, and install mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on Class 6–8 trucks and equipment
- Perform PMs, inspections, and warranty repairs, document work in our system
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Communicate clearly with customers and the CTS team; uphold a safety-first culture
- Maintain tools/parts, complete work orders, and follow CTS quality standards
Schedule & Travel
- Home on weekends and most nights
- Willing to travel statewide as needed, with occasional overnights depending on job location (travel expenses per CTS policy)
What we need
- Proven experience as a field/road tech, diesel tech, or heavy equipment technician
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL a plus)
- Self-starter with solid customer service and safety mindset
- Able to lift 50–75 lbs and work in shop/field environments
