A K-12 school in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services during the current school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language support to students across all grade levels, ensuring their communication needs are effectively addressed within the educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered and student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a school setting with K-12 students.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders relevant to school-aged children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
