Job Summary:
As an International Move Coordinator at Rodi Moving & Storage, you will be the primary point of contact and the driving force behind our clients' international relocation journeys. You will manage all aspects of the move process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from initial consultation to final destination. This role requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment proactively. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout their international move, building rapport and providing regular updates.
- Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their specific needs, timelines, and budget.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive move quotations, explaining all service options and associated costs clearly.
- Coordinate all aspects of the move, including packing, crating, shipping (sea and air freight), customs clearance, and destination services.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams (e.g., operations, packing crews) and external partners (e.g., shipping lines, customs brokers, destination agents).
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international regulations.
- Proactively identify and resolve any potential issues or challenges that may arise during the move process.
- Maintain meticulous and organized records of all communication, documentation, and move-related activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure client satisfaction by exceeding expectations throughout the entire relocation process.
Qualifications:
- Proven previous experience in the international moving industry or a related logistics/freight forwarding field is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and partners from diverse backgrounds.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets).
- A customer-centric approach with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
- Must be able to work full-time in our Miami, FL office.
