Salary Range

Job Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans under the direct supervision of a BCBA. The RBT provides high-quality, evidence-based behavioral interventions to clients in home, school, community, and/or clinic settings to increase skill acquisition and decrease maladaptive behavior.
General Accountabilities
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans as outlined by the supervising BCBA
Provide direct 1:1 therapy, including skill acquisition programs, behavior reduction protocols, and data collection
Accurately collect, record, and submit session data using company systems (e.g., CR Essentials)
Follow all behavior intervention plans, safety procedures, and crisis management strategies
Assist with generalization of skills across environments (home, school, community)
Maintain professional, compassionate communication with families, caregivers, and team members
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions
Report any changes in client behavior, family dynamics, or safety concerns to the BCBA immediately
Maintain client privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
Attend required ongoing training and maintain active RBT certification with the BACB
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Active RBT certification with the BACB or willingness to complete certification within 30 days
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Level 2 background check (as required by Florida law)
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations
